A parody of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive" titled "We Will Survive" was written by Gord Moran, a retired teacher from Prince Edward County, Ontario, in response to the US tariff threat. The song was produced by Wayne McFaul and sung by Sonya Zaback. Gord Moran passed away shortly before the song's release, but he was able to hear the finished version.
